The Knysna Motor Show 2018

Once a year the gorgeous Garden Route town of Knysna puts on the spectacular Knysna Motor Show, a not-to-be-missed annual event that is considered one of South Africa’s premier motor shows. Many who attend visit the Garden Route from afar, planning their holiday around this well-loved show whilst also enjoying the last days of summer.

People of all ages can appreciate the show which is very family-orientated; motor enthusiasts mark it on their event calendar early in the year. There is always a beer garden and myriad of attractive food and other refreshment stalls. The fresh air creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all the enjoy.

Expect hundreds of classic, vintage and veteran cars coupled with a captivating display of supercars, sports cars and new-era vehicles for visitors to appreciate. Not forgetting the wide selection of motorcycles!

A lot of thought and planning goes into the Knysna Motor Show with high quality of display vehicles being a top priority. All displays are by invite only and have been personally selected by the event organizers. This alluring motor show is a huge success every year and 2018 will most definitely be no different.

The most highly anticipated feature of the 2018 Knysna Motor Show will be the historical display of production sedans and sports cars. These cars are very rare and are only available in South Africa meaning that international guests will have the opportunity to appreciate them up-close, maybe even for the very first time. The Knysna Motor Show, sponsored by Sanlam Private Wealth and organized by the Garden Route Motor Club, will take place on Sunday, 29 April 2018 at the Knysna High School fields, transformed into a car-lovers haven, transporting visitors through the exciting history of a diverse range of vehicles. By attending this amazing show, visitors can look forward to meeting like-minded individuals and sharing their passion.

Each year the Knysna Motor Show funds a variety of local Garden Route charities that include the Animal Welfare, Hospice, E-PAP (children feeding scheme), Knysna High School Bursary Fund as well as FAMSA.
