Welcome! I’m Carene Daniel, Founder and Director of Hello Garden Route.
For more than 18 years, I have dedicated my career to creating exceptional guest experiences through luxury travel, hospitality, tourism, villa management and property operations.
After graduating from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree specialising in Tourism Management, I built an international career that has taken me from South Africa to South Korea, Romania and back again, working within luxury tourism, hospitality and guest services before founding Hello Garden Route in 2013.
Today, Hello Garden Route is recognised as a trusted specialist in tailor-made Garden Route holidays, luxury accommodation and professional property management. Every property we represent has been personally inspected to ensure it meets our high standards of quality, comfort and guest experience.
Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working with travellers from all over the world, including many families and discerning guests from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and North America. Understanding different cultures, anticipating guest expectations and delivering personalised service have become the foundation of my hospitality philosophy.
Over the years I have successfully managed luxury villas, holiday homes and accommodation portfolios, coordinating every aspect of the guest journey—from personalised itinerary planning and reservations to owner liaison, housekeeping, maintenance coordination, concierge services and quality assurance.
For me, luxury is not simply about beautiful accommodation—it is about creating experiences that guests remember long after their holiday has ended. Every recommendation, every itinerary and every detail is carefully considered to ensure a seamless, stress-free and memorable stay.
My passion extends beyond tourism. I have developed extensive experience in hospitality operations, luxury accommodation management and property management, allowing me to support both guests and property owners with the same level of professionalism, integrity and personal care.
