Set on a 9 hectare Private Nature Reserve, with the Matjies River Gorge below, this property boasts spectacular views of the indigenous forest, valley and Tsitsikama Mountains range. It’s situated in The Crags, a short drive from Plettenberg Bay.
Hog Hollow Country Lodge & Villa is very child-friendly, with added touches ensuring their absolute comfort. Hand crafted artifacts surround the Lodge; the décor is earthy with some color ‘zing’.
Accommodation is either in a beautifully appointed Garden Suite, alternatively an exclusive and spacious Villa. All offer privacy and serenity, embracing the peaceful surroundings.

Hog Hollow offers 16 stylish Garden Suites, 3 of which are Double Storey accommodating children aged 12 and under sharing with parents. These units have specially designed balconies which are higher, for added safety measures.

Hog Hollow implements a Reduce, Reuse and Recycle approach throughout their operation e.g. they give their vegetable waste to a local emerging pig farmer, have an ongoing de-wattling programme, plant indigenous trees throughout the year and so much more.
Hog Hollow was also one of the first six properties in South Africa to be accredited by the Wilderness Foundation Green Leaf.
On-site activities include horse rides, lazing around the pool, relaxing in the sauna, reading a book on your private deck and going for a walk through the forest, prolific in bird life. Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, The Birds of Eden as well as The Elephant Sanctuary are all within walking distance.
