Hideaway Guest House is a Cape Colonial-style 4* Guest House located on the main road leading into Knysna, with an easy 20 minute walk to town center, the famous Waterfront as well as Thesen Island.

Hideaway Guest House, renovated in 2023, offers seven tastefully decorated and luxurious bed & breakfast bedrooms: two Executive Rooms are on the ground floor and boast lovely lagoon views; three Superior Rooms are on the first floor offering the same views. In addition are two Standard Rooms located in the main house, with no lagoon view.

All rooms are equipped with a flatscreen television and high speed WiFi, a mini fridge, tea&coffee station, hairdryer, air conditioning plus a mini safe for valuables. The en-suite bathrooms feature spacious showers, toiletries from Charlotte Rhys and bathrobes.

There is also a private self-catering bungalow accommodating a family of three comfortably.

Communal facilities include a sparkling swimming pool with wooden deck and sunloungers, a lush garden, dining room with wood-burning fireplace where continental and freshly prepared warm breakfasts are served daily as well as a guest lounge and business centre.

2 x Executive Rooms: Located on the ground floor. Large rooms with a King size bed, small sitting area, Nespresso coffee machine and spacious bathroom with shower only. Private patio with fantastic views of the Knysna Lagoon and Heads.

3 x Superior Rooms: Located on the first floor. 2 x Rooms with Queen size beds and 1x room with Twin beds. Nespresso coffee machine. En-suite bathroom with shower only. Private patio with fantastic views of the Knysna Lagoon and Heads.

NON-LAGOON FACING ROOMS (In the Main House)

2 x Standard Rooms: Comfortable rooms with Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower only. Private patio, no lagoon view.

COTTAGE (Separate from the Main House)

1 x Self-Catering Cottage: A private bungalow accommodating 2 adults and 1 child. Available for longer stays. Separate bedroom with Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower only. Lounge with sleeper couch, indoor wood-burning fireplace and small dining table. Opens onto spacious balcony with outdoor dining, sunloungers and built-in BBQ/braai. Kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering stay. Own entrance and secure off-street parking. Guests can make use of the guest house facilities and services.
