Botlierskop is malaria free, family owned and privately operated Garden Route game lodge set on a magnificent 3000 hectare property within close proximity to Mossel Bay.

Not only do they offer 4 Star rated accommodation and facilities, they also have a dedicated day center for visitors coming to enjoy some of their safari activities. These include, amongst others, horseback safaris, bush walks, fishing, guided game drives and the bush spa.

Botlierskop is home to an abundance of animal and birdlife including 4 of the Big 5. The property is rich in fauna and flora; your safari guide will gladly impart his/her knowledge during your visit.

Accommodation on offer is either in one of their Luxury Tented Suites or, for families with children younger than 6 years old, at the recently renovated Manor House. The Manor House can also be rented as an exclusive villa with a private butler on request.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Luxury Tented Suites, built close to the Moordkuil River, are carefully incorporated into the surrounding bushveld.

Fifteen Suites in total consisting of Standard, Deluxe, Executive and Family Suites. Each Suite is elegantly decorated in colonial style with 4-poster beds and mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms are lavishly equipped with a deep oval bath and outdoor shower – shower under the stars, literally!
Relax on your private wooden deck whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the natural surroundings.

A raised wooden walkway connects each of the tents to the Main Lodge.

The Manor House, the original farm house dating back to the mid 1800’s, boasts spectacular views over the plains of this reserve.

Four Suites in total consisting of 1 Executive Suite, 1 Family Suite and 2 Luxury Suites. Each Suite is elegantly decorated in a contemporary country-style with mosquito nets and a small lounge area.

The Manor House is fully air-conditioned with a fireplace in the communal lounge, ensuring that no matter what time of year you visit, comfort is guaranteed! Enjoy sundowners from your Suite’s private patio, alternatively socialize with other guests around the fire in the communal courtyard.

Located within walking distance to the Main Lodge and Tented Suites.

COMMUNAL AREAS:

The Main Lodge is home to overnight guests’ communal facilities, including a rim-flow swimming pool with lovely views, the Tented Lodge Restaurant serving all meals (think fine dining), an indoor lounge with large fireplace, an outdoor seating area with boma firepit, also a conference room seating up to 24 delegates.

The Bush Spa, situated on the riverbank surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, consists of two indoor treatment rooms plus an outdoor deck for those seeking a more ‘Getting in touch with Nature’ option. ‘Let off steam’ in the free-standing sauna.
