Hello Garden Route Travellers!

By this time, you’re either already settled into your Garden Route Holiday Accommodation or packing your kids & car, heading to our beautiful region over the next few days.

16 Dec – 5 Jan The Plett Summer Festival, Plett

Takes place during peak season in Plett, with Tag Rugby, Carols by Candlelight and many other events making this exciting and memorable.


18 – 20 Dec Pink Tree Christmas Market, George

The Pink Tree Christmas Market is BIGGER and BETTER. Open 18 to 19 December from 09:00 to 18:00 and 20 December from 09:00 till 15:00. Many first-time exhibitors will be showcasing their unique products in our pop-up-shop which will be hosted in a brand new section. There will be stunning jewellery, plants, books, food, clothing and home-ware to tease your eyes, with sweet and savoury eats to tantalise your taste buds. Credit card facilities available! 19 – 21 Dec Knysna Splash, Knysna

Now in its third year, Knysna SPLASH is organised and co-ordinated by Knysna Rotary and all entry fees go to local charities. There are four fun-filled events for the whole family.

19 Dec Matthew Mole, Desmond & The Tutus LIVE, George

Puma happy holiday festival & Zanzibar Sports Cafe present Matthew Mole Desmond & Tutus with Djs not bad performing for one night only show starts promptly at 7pm so come early to avoid missing this music extravaganza.


20 Dec Carols by Candlelight, George

The place to be this December during the Plett Summer Festival! Come sweat it out in the sun on Central Beach on 22nd & 23rd December. This is open to all athletes regardless of your sport!


23 Dec Watershed LIVE, Mossel Bay

South African pop-rock band Watershed is heading to Garden Route Casino’s Bravo Lounge on Tuesday 23 December, for what promises to be an unforgettable performance. Founded in Johannesburg in 1998, these local music legends are most popular for their signature tune Indigo Girl, which they released in 2002.
